How to Apply for Summer Session
It’s easy to apply for Summer Session at Loyola University New Orleans. We have class offerings for undergraduate, graduate, law, and non-degree seeking students who are interested in studying over the summer.
Current Loyola students use the Course Catalog in LORA Self-Service to explore available Summer Session courses. Summer 2025 courses will be added to the Course Catalog on March 21, 2025. You must be approved by your advisor to register for Summer Session. Advising begins on March 24, 2025. Registration starts on April 7, 2025.

Are you a visiting student enrolled full-time at another university who want to take summer courses at Loyola? Or maybe you're re-admitting to Loyola after taking some time off? Loyola offers admissions for visiting, non-degree seeking, and re-admit students starting over the summer. Simply complete an application and submit a transcript from your current or recently attended institution. Transcripts can be sent by standard mail or via a secure electronic transcript service.
