How to Apply for Summer Session
It’s easy to apply for Summer Session at Loyola University New Orleans. We have class offerings for undergraduate, graduate, law, and non-degree seeking students who are interested in studying over the summer.
Current Students
Current Loyola students use the Course Catalog in LORA Self-Service to explore available Summer Session courses. Summer 2023 courses will be added to the Course Catalog on February 24, 2023. You must be approved by your advisor to register for Summer Session. Advising begins on February 27, 2023. Registration starts on March 6, 2023.
Study Abroad Students

Visiting and Non-Degree Seeking Students
Visiting students enrolled full-time at another university who want to take summer courses at Loyola should complete the Summer Visiting Application. This application must be submitted with an official transcript or letter of good standing from the last school attended. The letter must state that you are in good standing (not on academic or financial probation, suspension, or dismissal) and that you are eligible to return. The transcript or letter should be mailed to:
